The Role
As Business Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding business needs, assessing the impact of changes, capturing, analysing, and documenting requirements, and supporting the communication and delivery of these requirements with relevant stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
- Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.
- Business Process Analysis: Analyse and model business processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend effective solutions.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with IT and business teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Change Management: Support the implementation of change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of new solutions and processes.
- Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to support decision-making processes and provide actionable insights.
- Documentation: Create clear and detailed documentation, including requirements specifications, process maps, and functional designs.
- Testing and Validation: Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure that solutions meet the specified requirements.
- Project Support: Provide support for project planning and execution, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance business processes and solutions.
Person Specification
Experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesise complex information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, as well as experience with software development lifecycle methodologies.
