  • Job Role: IT Project Manager 

    Location:  London 

    Job Sector: IT Operations

    Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 

    The Role

    We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic IT Project Manager to lead and deliver IT projects within scope, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a proven track record of managing IT infrastructure, software development, or systems integration projects. The IT Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring that project goals align with the company’s broader technology and business objectives.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategies.
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring all stakeholders have a clear understanding of requirements.
    • Develop and manage project budgets, track spending, and allocate resources efficiently to meet project goals.
    • Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively manage risks to minimise project impact.
    • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, risks, and timelines.
    • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, ensuring accountability, and maintaining momentum throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers, and post-implementation reviews.
    • Liaise with external vendors to ensure smooth integration of third-party services or products into the project.
    • Apply project management methodologies as appropriate, driving efficiency and adaptability in the project execution.

      Person Specification

      Experience

    • Successful delivery of projects in a sophisticated business environment, preferably gained from working within larger organisations
    • Exceptional stakeholder management skills coupled with senior-level influencing and relationship management
    • Strong understanding of change management principles and practices, with experience implementing successful digital change initiatives.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work, coupled with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
