Your Role, Your Impact
As a Caretaker, you will efficiently and effectively provide daily support and upkeep of the development, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. You will liaise with residents to address and resolve any issues related to communal areas, maintaining a secure and welcoming space for both residents and guests at all times. Additionally, you will support the development or property manager in upholding the highest health and safety standards across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take bins out on collection days and return them once emptied
- Manage and monitor CCTV systems to ensure safety
- Clean and maintain bin stores and undercroft car parking areas
- Maintain regular communication with residents to address their concerns and needs
- Provide access codes to residents or contractors as required
- Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance to keep properties in good condition
- Be proactive in identifying and resolving issues promptly
- Handle day-to-day resident queries and escalate more complex matters when necessary
- Coordinate and liaise with contractors for maintenance and repairs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Significant experience in a caretaking position required
- A great communicator Understanding of Health and Safety regulations including COSHH
- Confidence with the use of power tools and working at heights training would be an advantage Confident, polite and courteous communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Exceptional customer service experience, with the ability to work multi-task, prioritise and manage various task simultaneously
