Group Statutory Compliance Coordinator
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000
Location: Euston/Hybrid
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
The role is vital in ensuring the statutory and regulatory compliance of the properties under group control (all brands). The Coordinator will work closely with Consultants to ensure the overall compliance of their respective portfolio in relation to Gas, Electrical, Smoke & Carbon, Legionnaires and licensing regulations. To arrange new inspections and tests where required, along with monthly reporting. Liaise with landlords, tenants, contractors and other stakeholders in order to facilitate the above. The role is crucial in supporting Campions’ commitment to maintain a strong compliance culture and protect our customers, client and the organisation.
Main Responsibilities
- To assist Consultants in the running of monthly reports and flag any certificates which are due to expire.
- Support Consultants in liaising with contractors, landlords, tenants and other stakeholders in the arranging of new inspections or tests.
- Review certificates or reports received to ensure they have been completed fully, in line with respective requirements and are valid, where applicable.
- Where documentation has been received, distribute to landlord or tenant in a timely manner.
- To add verified documentation to the CRM system and setting correct expiry dates.
- Assist the HMO consultant in processing correspondence related to licensing regulations.
- Efficiently record on the CRM any communications in relation to a particular inspection or test.
- Ensure to assist within the team where workloads increase or where absences are present.
- In collaboration with the rest of the team, ensure overall compliance for the group portfolio of tenanted properties is maintained.
- To partake in the roll out of a new certificate verification software.
- To keep up to date with relevant legislation.
- Other relevant duties as and when required.
Skills and Behaviours
- Role appropriate qualification and/or experience - technically strong and commercially astute.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Property Management Compliance or a related field.
- Provide excellent customer service in every interaction with internal colleagues and external clients.
- Highly motivated and pro-active self-starter who has demonstrable ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
