Lettings Manager
Location: Kentish Town
OTE: £70,000+
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 6pm
Contract: 12 Month FTC
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lettings Manager to lead our branch in Kentish Town one of our most dynamic, high-performing, and strategically important locations.
This is a fast-paced and highly competitive lettings market, requiring a strong individual with a proven track record of success in residential lettings, a sharp commercial and strategic mindset, and outstanding leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will be driven, results-oriented, and passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience while consistently exceeding performance targets.
As Lettings Manager, you will be fully responsible for the operational and financial performance of the branch. You will lead from the front, managing and motivating a team of negotiators to maximise market share, drive revenue growth, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism, compliance, and client service.
What you’ll be responsible for:

Running the day-to-day operations of the lettings team in Kentish Town

Coaching, motivating and supporting a team of negotiators to hit targets

Setting clear individual and team objectives, and regularly reviewing performance

Carrying out market appraisals and converting instructions

Developing new business and identifying opportunities for growth in the local area

Managing branch budgets and keeping a close eye on revenue and spend

Handling escalated issues, client concerns, or complaints when needed

Ensuring the team stays compliant with current lettings legislation and internal processes

Producing accurate and timely reporting on branch performance for senior management

Monitoring competitor activity and adjusting strategy where needed
What we’re looking for:

5–10 years of experience in lettings, including 3+ years in a team or branch management role

A strong understanding of the London property market, ideally with local area knowledge

Proven track record of hitting targets and growing market share

Excellent leadership and people management skills — confident leading by example

High appraisal-to-instruction conversion rate

Good commercial awareness, budgeting experience, and understanding of how to run a profitable office

Up-to-date knowledge of lettings legislation and best practices

Organised, reliable, and confident making decisions independently
