Group Data Protection Administrator
FTC 6-12 Months
This role reports to the Compliance Team Leader - Campions Group. This role is crucial in supporting the Compliance Team Leader to implement, monitor and comply with our published data protection policies and processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Effectively Managing the group data protection email inboxes
- Detailed record keeping of all data protection related complaints, queries and requests
- Responding effectively to internal and external data protection related questions and requests
- Keeping detailed records of Subject Access Requests (SAR) received and monitoring deadlines for response
- Liaising with internal and external subjects to confirm and detail the parameters of their SAR
- Compiling detailed search requests and liaising with internal and external support teams to conduct the required searches
- Reviewing data packages to ensure the redaction and exclusion parameters have been adhered to and fully applied
- Compiling full responses to subjects with regards to SAR’s raised and implementing effective security measures before responding
- Managing and completing ad-hoc data protection requests within the group CRM systems
- At all times keep the Compliance Team Leader up to date with ongoing requests, questions and complaints
- Complete scheduled data protection related reports as directed by the Compliance Team Leader
- Completing day to day data sanitisation projects within the group CRM systems
- Monitoring adherence to the Group’s GDPR policy and escalating concerns to the Compliance Team Leader
- To maintain an awareness of relevant legislation
- Promote adherence to Compliance policies throughout the organisation
- To assist the Compliance Team Leader and other members of the Compliance team with other duties as and when required
Skills and Experience
- A good knowledge of data protection legislation
- Familiarity with property industry best practice relating to data protection.
- Holds strong experience in an admin role within the property or similar industry
- Experience of using Reapit or other industry CRM (beneficial)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- High attention to detail whilst working to tight deadlines
- A proactive attitude towards problem solving
- A high standard of written communication
