Job Role: Building Remediation Manager
Location: Remote working -office attendance for meetings
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £35,000 per annum plus £4,500 car allowance

Job role
- Owning customer & client support through the process of liaison with developers to achieve building remediation for fire safety defects.
- Owning customer & client support through the Building Safety Fund and government funded levy process and associated remediation works.
- Managing customer and client expectation accordingly.
- Managing key processes, with interaction and support from other internal teams, associated with Building Safety Fund/levy funding rules, compliance processes, relevant legislation/leaseholders lease terms and financial transactions required throughout each project.
- Collating all documentation to feed into the golden thread and safety case report.
This role reports to the Operations Manager for Building Safety
Main Responsibilities
- Attend and deliver Innovus agreed strategy at all client meetings for assigned projects, to lead on BSF matters, acting as the main point of contact for Innovus agreed scope of services.
- Consult with wider BSF team on specialist matters and advise client accordingly and work with the client’s external professional team to maintain holistic knowledge of the project progress.
- Own the relationship with the relevant Delivery Partner for each assigned project.
- Work closely with the building owners / resident management companies to establish their specific requirements and provide relevant feedback so that they can make informed decisions.
- Engage with developers to discuss building remediation for a portfolio of buildings and attend project progress meetings.
- Own all incoming customer and client enquiries (with the support of the team) and work with communications colleagues to facilitate both proactive and responsive outgoing comms.
- Assist communications colleagues with sensitive enquiries from media and other stakeholders.
- Working with the project and data coordinators to ensure that all developer and client reports are correct and regularly updated.
- Work with operational colleagues to manage practical implications of major project delivery.
- Liaise with insurers and insurance brokers regarding the proposed works.
- Keep BSF delivery partners updated on progress for projects that have transferred to the developer.
- Ensure legal compliance regarding licences, agreements whilst also ensuring compliance with Landlord and Tenant Act, Building Safety Act and relevant Health & Safety legislation and regulations that may be applicable to the projects.
Skills and Experience
- IRPM (AIRPM/MIRPM) / AssocRICS or equivalent professional accreditations is desirable.
- Exceptional communicator at all levels.
- Property management (or similar) experience.
- An understanding of project management principals and methodologies.
- Capable of hands-on problem solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions.
- Able to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external specialisms.
- Ability to lead beyond direct area of control.
- Excellent understanding of leasehold property management industry and relevant legislative requirements.
- Customer & Client facing experience and demonstrable client account management skills.
- A sound understanding of the building remediation process, including applications to the government funding.
- Proven operational property management experience.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage both long and short term workstreams and priorities.
- Flexible to work outside of usual business hours if required.
