Job Title – Finance ERP administrator
Location: Remote Home Working (some occasional travel to meet with your team)
Job Type: 12 months Fixed term contract (one year) with potential to convert to permanent
The purpose of this role is:
The Finance ERP administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support for Workday finance, which includes responding to tickets raised from across the Finance team on Easyvista.
You will be building relationships with finance colleagues in the business (in the UK and internationally- Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands etc.) to understand and resolve their queries when using our Workday system.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable with Workday (or other ERP system) and eager to deepen knowledge in Workday.
In this role you will be a member of the Workday competence centre team, providing post go-live support and enhancement of the Workday solution; supporting and enhancing our existing Workday deployment functions. This role and the team will grow as we further deploy and expand our Workday finance.
Keys responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, computer science or a related field
- Experience with Workday (or in other ERP finance system) administration, configuration, and optimization
- Knowledge and experience of ERP finance project processes
- Strong understanding of financial systems and finance/business processes
- Proven experience of at least 2 years working with ERP systems, (Workday, desirable)
- Experience in an ERP finance system support role
- Experience of performing functional and technical tests
- Experience working within an international organisation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant language skills, a plus (French, German, Spanish)
- Understanding of data security principles and experience implementing security measures within Workday
- A technical background covering multiple technologies with the ability to pick up new technical areas quickly and successfully
- Experience in finance and/or IT functions
- Knowledge of property sector would be a plus
